Silence is Golden - Part III

A 3-Part Novel Excerpt

Release to Receive

A superpower that is rarely exalted for its actual value. And even more seldomly practiced due to misunderstanding its uses in the first place. It is the product of acceptance and gratitude, and the precursor to forgiveness and liberation. It's the root system of all our personal triumphs. Our ability to loosen our grip on expectations of the future and the experiences we begrudge from the past is the key to unlocking a reality of endless resources.

On the other side of the release, your field of awareness broadens, allowing previously unseen desires and opportunities to reveal themselves. A point at which you can see the tangles of your past with compassion and understand that they were teaching you the technique of releasing to receive.

The cycles of the Earth offer unwavering guidance and recurrent opportunities to release and receive in perfect harmony with the ebb and flow of the Universal breath. Remaining in sync with that breath and slowly tailoring your life to house those practices is the biggest hurdle you will face in the receiving process. Learning these skills isn't hard, but truly understanding them will take desire, courage, and devotion.

Our Forever Home

So how do we structure our intentions- and inherently our lifestyles- to ensure our energy can flow from a centered perspective on ourselves and the world around us? There are many modalities to finding that intimate space within yourself. Experiment with various tools and teachers to find the combination of practices that allow you to return and recenter your energy consistently.

I was taught it is best to begin by exploring your deepest desire and then build your structure around those beams of intention. Getting intimate with the thoughts, ideas, feelings, and experiences that ignite your pleasure is the pathway to unveiling your highest purpose. It's evident that for me, writing is a prominent tool and outlet, but each person will have different methods and rituals for processing their emotions.

However, I can attest that being honest with yourself on paper is one of the most eye-opening techniques for self-discovery and understanding the world around us. Writing helps us to compartmentalize our feelings about a topic; it reassures our minds that those thoughts and feelings can be remembered and returned to later instead of stirring them around at an inopportune moment. It doesn't have to be an article you can submit to Time magazine, just a messy flow of honest thoughts and feelings. I can't tell you how many times I've had life-altering ideas and epiphanies that only became so due to my ability to revisit them over and again.

Try looking at it like this. Have you ever had a conversation with someone about a matter weighing on your heart, and after doing so, you better understood your feelings about the whole thing? Well, one can do the same by writing and re-reading your thoughts, and it's a hell-of-a go-between when no one is around. Instead of repeatedly reeling through the endless "Cause-Effect-Resolution" mindset at 3 am, I get quiet for as long as possible and then write.

Whatever it is for you, seek it; find what lays your spirit to rest at night—that space where you can quiet the mind and give peace to the heart.

Here the Truth speaks.

Here I realized precisely why they say Silence is Golden.

These thoughts are gathered from my experience with the All and can only be considered a small portion of my beliefs. I have, by no means, mastered this concept, but I felt moved by my experience, which has brought the knowledge into brighter Light. I'm thankful to continue my path of self-discovery and to implement all of these little bits and pieces of encouragement from my environment along the way. Equally, I am honored to share the wisdom gained from my experiences with others so they may have the chance to tap into their intuition and find their infinite source of liberation.

Be bold about looking up the numerous available tools for this. Of course, I am developing a lovely pocket guide to offer you, but in the meantime, seek more advice, affirmations, and ceremonies focusing on forgiveness and emotional healing. We are in the Information Age! There are so many channels for guidance outside of yourself that can lead to moments of clarity when coupled with the life-changing practice of meditation. And remember, it is a practice.

Continue on to the next post, 'Hacking Resistance and Desire', to dive further into these principles and practice some of the first steps that will prepare you to open the door to more abundance in your life.
