Over 20 years ago, a spark was lit in me that showed me a corner of the room that had never been visible before. It was an accumulation of experiences over the following 20 years that would become my exploration of that space, filling it up, burning it down, and rebuilding it all over again. I traveled abroad, tried psychedelics for the first time, had a few failed relationships, and started being met with opportunities to expand beyond the mindless wandering of an adolescent. This was when I started dreaming up a healing space for others to join me in, the mere imagination stage of Mojave Mirage, before I knew what it would look or sound like. At this point, about 10 years into this "knowing" you could call it, I finally felt like I was ready to take a more profound step. I began noticing how much was wrong in the world and how little control I felt over changing it, but the desire was building in me to figure out my place in it. The relationship I was in wasn't fit to accommodate the expansion I felt called to, so I flipped the table of my life over and was whisked away into the nooks and crannies of this corner that had yet to be uncovered. I ventured deep into the desert and found my soul was relaxing next to a creek at the heart of an Oasis. I would learn what it meant to call Earth home and what material belongings one needs to thrive in the natural world. I was never the same after this roller coaster of an awakening. I could gauge my true center and finally understand how I was to give back to the All. Coursing back out into the forest and beaches to collect seashells and moss piles of wisdom, that Oasis would inevitably give me the tools I needed to make sense of the information presented to me through all these years. This is where Mojave Mirage was conceived. I could no longer keep to myself all of the clarity that I had gained through the gifts bestowed at my feet. So now, here we are. I found my way to creating this website, and after all this gathering of resources and nesting, I am finally ready to birth Mojave Mirage into virtual space and introduce it to the people who need to find Her so She can be a birthing place for them as well. Mojave Mirage will translate into a physical space where we can all gather in person and celebrate the journey we've made it through. You have a place here with us.
